Also, it would help if people DID list bugs, because otherwise they might not get fixed.

Here some Constructive Criticism , so dont whine and get this wrong ( or get it I dont care).
Blue_Arrow The Rifle got a problem when you move it up/down it got some buggy blocks , making empty space (also showel)
Blue_Arrow The player models must be Fixed really , to look like now ( in AOS ) , Not this 2d Simpsons player with blocks turning at you
Blue_Arrow Also The Gun holding with One hand is ugly as hell
Blue_Arrow Also a big problem is that Sensitivity gets bigger as you aim more at the bottom / top its like senitivity 50 , That cant really be so There must be a steady and smooth sensitivity , Not some random sensitivity.

What if there was a mountable machine gun? Something like a Gatling Gun or something, that you would have to mount. Would require two players (thus promoting teamwork) have terrible spread and really low rate of fire.

Then it wouldn't be deemed Machine gun, or Gatling gun, which both are praised for its firepower and rate of fire.

Edit: Unless it launched grenades that explode on impact. Blue_Happy1

Adding something like that, then nerfing it so much that it's barely useful makes it rather pointless to add in the first place. It would be stupid to add a ton of guns, then make them all worse than the rifle in every way, just to give players the illusion of weapon choice.

Exactly. The rifle needs to be just as good as every other weapon. Just with a ranged bonus. You could have a rifle that has spread. And a sniper that has no spread but slower fire rate. A shot per 2 seconds for sniper. Edit: The sniper wouldn't be as useful in close combat. So that's why there needs to be a rifle, and a sniper. Rifle is decent at close combat/good at medium ranged combat. And the sniper is excellent at long range combat, and decent at medium range since you'd be attacked at medium range by a rifle.

We have argued this countless times since the beginning of Ace of Spades to its fall to Jagex and to the revival of the game in build and shoot. We have discussed, agreed and left the subject off at:

The rifle being accurate
This game is about foot soldiers not specialists
The fog distance being too short a
Why have a sniper if you can have a rifle?

Its time to leave it.

I don't look to the past. 0.76 added a rifle with less accuracy. Now imagine it with more less accuracy and putting in a sniper that shoots slower but with 100% accuracy. I didn't say sniper/rifle were the same. Read harder.

I hope you're joking. 76 improved the rifles exponentially by giving them %100 accuracy at the cost of ammo and r.o.f.
76 was going to have what you describe as a sniper rifle but it was still a rifle. Do your research.

The problem with .76 rifle is they actually tried balancing it out by making it have a slower RoF and lower magazine size (5 as opposed to the now 8(.76)/10(.75)) making it require more skill and punishing you for encountering multiple people/missing/generally fucking up. Of course this created an uproar and ben reverted it sadly. Of course smg is still retarded, as is shotgun(buffing the fire rate wasnt needed, it just needed a better cone. Not that Im complaining), but nerfing rifle was the first painfulstep that was needed to balance the weapons out(before anyone says anything, the first .76 prerelease want a perfect rifle, it was a start though). Of course people only care about balance as long as it means buffing the rifle.

EDIT: just realized i started this over the(correct) statement of "Rifle had perfect accuracy in .76".

Wait what? How long exactly do you want the draw/fog distance to be?
