Arena is a pretty good game mode and adds variety to aos. But generally aos isn't exactly about close quarters shooting and cod esque gameplay. So the thought of arena being officially integrated as a league game mode is very unlikely as majority would be against it as shown in discussions and your formentioned skills required are possible to have. Most players don't think twice in arena about running around and shooting an smg at enemies. Same as in CoD the only skill available is trickshotting. Arena is generally different than aos as it is more tightly based combat, small maps, and CoD esque elements which work fine in some places. Clan matches IMO shouldn't be happening in arena matches and work better in Tdm and ctf as they have worked for a while now. I recommend talking about this with dan and the league organizers if you want official implementation.

Anyways, fps games today needs a very fast phase game play so it does not get boring at one time. Such as titan fall and etc. Aos can be fast phase. Maybe tdm, ctf, mctf, and etc in small maps. It will make the game more fast phase and not easy to play. Hard games tends to be addicting like flappy bird. I am not saying we change everything what is aos about, but come on, at least promote arena or arena maps.

good luck finding a game then. AoS isn't like other games, the gameplay is more for CTF or TDM, arena just doesn't require the amount of teamwork like other modes so which makes it boring.

Unfortunately there is a lack of teamwork in arena modes, but I don't blame that on the game mode. The winning team is generally one of these three:

- The team that has map advantage
- The team that has LinStar
- The team that works together

If I were to call for strategy on a public arena server, my team would ignore my advice and rush in blindly. This has become an acceptable playstyle, and if you don't play this way you'll be criticised as a 'camper'. If, however, clans were to play versus each other I think it could open up doors for a more strategic and balanced game.

And people in hallway, pinpoint, babel, and etc server are tactical? I go into pinpoint and people just run in building unnecessary buildings. Arena disables griefing and you obvious can tell which are hackers.

Well you're obviously not using all the resources given to you. There's a reason why the staff created the Community Events sub-forum: so that people can take initiative and actually get the "community activity" that everyone has oh so been waiting for.
