Our numbers are approaching Jagex's http://aoswiki.rakiru.com/webpages/playercount.html#all If we can get Iceball to work with existing servers, or a new voxlap client off my port, we will give them some serious competition. Even with the limited server side modding ability pysnip/pyspades offers, we still have a variety of game modes. Couple that creativity with Iceball's highly modifiable setup and we can eclipse Jagex's AoS.

That's another worry. Jagex adds some neat features to lure us back, and it works. I am fully expecting bi-planes and WWI tanks now, it's BF3 season.

What the fuck is wrong with those boots?
Meh, I say wait and see if there will actually be planes and tanks. Might just be put in there for ambiance, to give WWI feel, I guess.

I don't think they would put it in the background for no reason. It clearly isn't made out of blocks. Jagex knows it's going to take a lot to reverse their fortunes, I wouldn't even be surprised if iceball was on their radar too, though they might not be that savvy.

I guaranty the the planes and the tanks in this image are only blocks that are part of the map.

You have hit the mark. I think, what is it excellent thought.
EDIT:
On topic:
This guy "Chromatose" on the Jagex forums basically summed up the situation for Jagex:
Chromatose wrote: this will be an interesting day because of two potential scenarios:
- Jagex will contrary to the past, earn and receive some praise for adding content to ace of spades. Or:
- The forums will turn into a flaming storm of angry text followed by an absence of forum regulars who will
lose all faith in Jagex.
Let the games begin!

<@mikuli> the bad part in this plan is that it involves an already busy tea-drinking scone chomper with a monocle

Its a longshot but, could you ask them to release the .75 source code to the appropriate communities?

nice, I just dislike how the crosshair stays when you aim down the sight, it doesn't look very nice that way.
