The more and more you post the more and more I realize that you don't listen to a word I say. Where is the basis for this large accusation? All you ever do is try to put down my points without even thinking about it. But if you wanna play like that; I guess I can.

You usually post the same thing every time, so yeah the words do bleed together after a while. For instance I've said dozens of times "I don't have to prove anything to you, you do it, and everyone else acknowledges it as well". If you're going to imply that they're all stupid for feeling that way, then I sure hope the weather is nice up on that pedestal.

I mean this in the nicest way possible: Reuben, what you do is not "discussing", or even "Debating". Watch an actual debate, or an actual discussion, and notice how people talk about the Points; and not the people giving them out. Instead of refuting your point, you insult me and barely talk about the point. Stuff like that is why threads get locked. If we are to debate, don't be petty about it. If you don't have to prove anything to me, then what is the point if even replying? If you don't have anything to say; don't say it at all.It's not even like I'm saying this myself, Dan has said it over and over. That is vague subjective and your view point. It is not wrong and it not right and it isn't a fact.

You are complaining because you don't like community made gamemodes on community made maps on community provided servers. We aren't going restrict maps and gamemodes that you don't like. We aren't going to artificially give the gamemodes you like a higher rank on the server list compared to that you don't like. We aren't going to restrict server hoster from connecting to our master server because they want to host a version of the game you don't like.

What you can do is promote that which you like. If you are actually passionate about the other things you feel should be in the lime light, promote it.

I posted something interesting on a thread in the server section, it was about what is acceptable/unacceptable of a server hoster. I posed a question to the bns admins which has yet to be replied on, and seeing as how they are so interactive over on this thread i'll start this discussion here. One of the things that I mentioned was

is it acceptable that a server hoster openly hacks on his server and abuses the commands to such an extent that people find it impossible to play on it?

What are your thoughts on this? Hoping an admin would also reply this time..

I would also like to bring up my idea of rateable servers, maybe having users login to rate servers? Servers that are down voted are pushed to the bottom and vise-verse.

Sigh, now the Admin is doing the same thing. No, they weren't answered. People did the same things they did to this large point... they didn't think about what I was saying and they thought I was being a "moron" so they decided not to take full consideration of the point. I promise if someone else had that large point; there'd be a change, but people just believe in what they hear others say, so until they don't think that, I'm a "Moron" that should be "ignored".

Well, the first quote is true actually. You would have to look at the mechanics of the game to see what is unique. You can build in a FPS, and it encourages building and a slow-paced game. So yes, the first quote isn't that subjective. the second quote is obviously subjective and an opinion, and I never tried to pass it on as anything more, so I don't know why in included that.

I was not complaining. I said, that it would be a wise idea for them to add more variety and play to the game's strengths. Is that not what my post said? I said we need more unique gamemodes and to play to the games strengths, did I not? God, please read what I fucking say because it seems you and Reuben and the other's who tend to argue with me believe I'm trying to tell someone what to do. It is a point, and that's all it is. So please, refrain from making those kinds of accusations because they are annoying as shit.

Weird that a server gets pulled down when it does something that displays its server count a little more (icecraft servers), but a server hoster can go on to host a server where he himself violates the biggest and most prominent rule of Aos..."don't hack". Too bad the admins can do nothing about it right..so sad..

I have no idea if any of that is actually true. I do know however that Icecraft was removed because we told him on several occasions to change it. IIRC, we banned him lifted it and he changed it back. Obviously, we can work with anyone that is behaving like that.
