And yes, having different display settings in the editor and the game do give a false impression of what the guns look like in game.Joseh wrote:Ninja_pig_pro wrote:I guess you don't even know which modeling program it is, and AoS has no video settings but resolution, which has no change in shading/colors.I'm sure if I didn't know what slab6 was I wouldn't have a mod thread. The facial shading filter is so you can tell where the blocks are on the model. It adds shading, and without that shading it is very hard to tell which blocks are where(depending on the model).
If you had used the modelling program (slab6), you'd know I am right. You can activate a facial shading filter so the model looks better.
Please, don't be ignorant and try to at least have a little bit of information, because you don't even seem to know about AoS.
Also, how is it by reading my post the conclusion is "you know nothing about ace of spades". The reasons are true, and I shouldn't have to name the modeling program if your complaining the model pictures are false. I also do not see the "ignorance" in the post.
You stated nothing that makes my post look "ignorant" and also you have no information about WHY you are trashing the model when you even have 2 statements that contradict right next to eachother.
"as in-game it looks way more flat and uncolored. The only difference I saw in-game was the size of the weapons."
The "ingame it looks way more flat and uncolored" and the fact you said the only diffrence you saw was ingame is contradicting.

Well, the last argument of yours surely has no relevance in this (if we are having one) discussion, and Rakiru already explained, so let's save some time here.Joseh wrote: I guess you don't even know which modeling program it is, and AoS has no video settings but resolution, which has no change in shading/colors.I'm sure if I didn't know what slab6 was I wouldn't have a mod thread. And at last, if I were a modder (I used to be), I would not take screenshots with the facial shading on (I don't even use it to locate blocks, as I used to find that rather easy when I worked with player models), as it would promote a very different perspective from a flat, uncolored model to a very well-made model that looks from another game that requires a decent computer.

I like how it looks like a much, much better version of the default weapons.

Loving the look of the HK MP5, I'am thinking an iron sight would go perfect with it.
