You mean your browser does not anti-alias SVGs properly? I have Firefox 18 at the movement, and while it doesn't look perfect it doesn't look much worse than the PNG inkscape generated either.

It looks like it falls off to quickly, almost like it was beveled on the edges, but it had to summarize it into a 1 pixel border.
