G36C Mod

Here is our (yes, two people working here) mod for Ace of Spades. The G36C is the carbine variant of the highly popular G36 family of rifles.
Now, for a bit of background: The Heckler and Koch G36 family of rifles was designed for the purpose of replacing the also highly popular G3 battle rifle. The G36 fires a 5.56 NATO round (as opposed to the G3's 7.62x51mm round), giving it the ability to carry more ammo while still putting enemies six feet under. The G36C was designed as the carbine variant of the family, for the sake of having a 5.56 NATO gun be short enough to stick around corners, and still be long enough to house the gas system.
Enough of the chit-chat, we know you want the download link

Simple looking, but hey, I've seen pros take on the G36C and fall flat on their faces. So good job ;)

The picture is a bit too small, can you guys enlarge it up?
Btw, G36C isn't that long, it's like, 4-5 voxs shorter. Good job nonetheless.
PS: HTML doesn't work here, use BBCode instead :D

nice, but try working on the pistol grip and magazine a bit more, both of their shapes look a bit too plain or something. the gun also looks really thin, but that is not a big problem. the size is also fine I think, 4-5 voxels shorter would be a bit too short, maybe 1-2 at most

I really like the overall simplistic model, the magazine looks a bit strange though. Nonetheless, A good effort was put into this mod I assume and something nice came out of it. Good job

Thanks for the input, guys. We have used an actual model of a G36C for this mod (an airsoft gun that is the exact dimensions of the real thing), and we measured it, did the calculations, and did our best to replicate it in the game. Sure, the gun may seem kinda thin, but realize that you can only use full voxels, not half- or quarter-voxels (boy, do we wish we could). As far as the length, we thought maybe 2-3 voxels shorter would do, but we wanted your input on it.
And thanks, MrHaaax, for letting us know that HTML code doesn't work here (it is our first mod, after all).
Trust me, 4-5 voxels would be WAAAAAYYYYY too short for a Carbine. But thanks for pointing out that it is too big

Science, yeah!
It does look pretty good. I think it could be 1 or 2 voxels shorter, but I believe it is already pretty damn good. I'm way too used to 3-voxel thick guns, but it does look nice.
