so this is my first attempt at a real gun model and this is what i got

You should probably suggest some improvement yourself. I don't think your comment as it stands now is any help for him.

So far it's a nice attempt. It is already a great achievement if you have done something.

It is nice, but there are a few things to be improved. Namely, the magazine is a bit short, the pistol grip is not that vertical and the stock is slightly misalligned compared to the reference pic.

Ok this needs work. Sorry, but lots of work. Let's try this: Make the pistol grip a bit thicker. Then you just need to look a lot harder at that reference picture. Compare the picture to your model again and again while adjusting the model to look more and more like the picture. It is usually during this stage that a beginning modder realizes how humbling the art of modification is (and believe me, it is. I've been there too). Where they realize that they aren't putting as much effort into the actual model itself as into the idea for the model. Therefore, wasting much of the creativity that intended for the actual kv6 model. It's like if you take two big buckets, and fill one with water. Then you try to pour that water into the other rather large bucket. You will lose some of the water in the process, correct? That's what the beginning of modding is. Once you realize and fix this, then your mods will be very high quality. Hope this helps!
