slab6 worked for about three days, after that my mouse started spazing out of the window whenever I put it near it. Might not help but here. Spades-lab is a fork of slab6 made by fault check. It can import .vxl maps. Try it and see if it fixes your problem.

thanks for the suggestion, but i have the exact same problem. my mouse goes to the bottom of the window

This probably wont help you, but I have had similar problems and they TEND TO go away when I simply restart my PC. As I said this probably wont help you as you have probably already tried it... anyway...
