Ok, so I made a simple reskin of the classic rifle. It only took me 5 minutes, but I thought I'd post it anyway because I think it looks pretty good.

I made an upgrade to the default spade.
It is no longer a giant spatula.

EDIT: can a mod rename this to theginjaninja's default weapon edits as I might do more.

to make the scope I just got the default, then decreased the brightness and gave it a slight red tint.

I like the spade. Less obtrusive but still in the same style.
