Mmm! Yes -- compiling this IceBall into a useable snowball is hard.

Can't do that for my desktop (though my netbook is using Avast/MBAM), any other suggestions?
I've tried making its hyperreactive Real Time Protection thing less paranoid, but it's not the best workaround.

Trust me, I found a setting in Avast! which makes it go crazy over any application it deems strange.
Anyways, we need more descriptive compiling instructions.

Or use linux, because "anti-virus" is a cheap, performance hurting alternative to proper security.

Here is my thoughts on the future of IceBall:
GreaseMonkey should assemble a 'team'
It would be made up of willing and capable programmers/tech support/artists to help continue IceBall to grow even if GreaseMonkey should quit working on it. This is to insure the safety of the Ace of Spades classic in the case that Grease loses interest or something of the sort.
I have a list of people I would like to see working on IceBall, if anyone is interested.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to organise the creation and submission of these assets and such, but I'm at a bit of a loss. Right now, posting them in this thread with a clear indication that you are giving them to the project is probably your best bet (and/or hoping on IRC).

I would like to see a TC mod at Ice_ball.
Also I would like that IceB. goes to a more tactical and defensive/building Mode. I never understood why Ben(the Jew) had to turn AOS ( A BUILD GAME ! ) into a TF2 or COD Fast shooter.
For the weapons I would recommend a BOLT ACTION RIFLE WITH dmg OF 30 60 120" and Rof of 1bullet per 2seconds Something like a K98k from ww2 or so .
Also later on a :
Shotgun( A very powerfull one , would be cool to have Rifle and Shoty only! Rilfle for far shotty for tunnels and bunkers trenches ) DMG25x5pellets , Ammo 8/40 , Block break dmg.4pellets
HMG ( a only deployed usable weapon) DMG 15 30 60" , AMMO 50/150 , Block break dmg. 8shoots ,
Mortar( only deployed usable , shoots 2 map tiles far) DMG 2xGrenade , 1/6 , Block dmg 3x3x3
