If you guys want to make a real game, you need some nice GUI and HUD, I can make those.

But first use some openGL or other stuff to make the game run smoother, coz I get 11 fps.

I thought DirectX/Direct3D are smoother. Really, Quake with OpenGL lags for me(at least, those enchanced version did, because obviously my laptop is not that toast-y). Can someone confirm this?
And Moghard, welcome back, and this game/build shouldn't be even laggy at all.

Hey, Grease, will this be server-side moddable like Minetest? Or will we have to download the mod separately like Gang Garrison 2?

Hey, the Steam Linux team has been saying Left 4 Dead runs much smoother on OpenGL than on Directthingie. Besides, OpenGL is OPEN.

Basically what I've heard is that older DirectX versions are better than older OpenGL versions. But OpenGL 4+ kicks Dx11's butt.

Obviously we wouldn't be using GL4 or Dx 11.

Also DirectX is windows only. Since I think Grease is developing this on Linux he basically has no choice, software rendering or GL rendering.

This looks bad, really . I don't knew to script or anything but this is bad and I knew that at least , Terrain blocks look at you , between the blocks is nothing "invisible" , one weapon , it is like 1% the current aos.75

This is still work in progress, you can't even call it a game yet.

Really, please, could you people just use Voxlap instead of Lua?
I know Lua is easier, because I used it, but it's better to use Voxlap, then use openGL graphics.

@kmaj
The only Semi thing is totally crap thats why .75 will be far better Its really stupid and fristating playing a game with one weapon , For me aos(or its copies) should have around 5 weapons a Semi , Smg , Shotgun , HMG and a Mortar.
Anyway The Iceball Devilopers should do what they think is the best (and what they want) I just said what I meant .

A rifle would be fine in my opinion. But I dont think there should be a side arm. Just A primary, grenade a, shovel or spade and some blocks.

Vucgy, I told you before, spend your $10, buy 1.0, and leave us alone.

I also said this will have 3 weapons: rifle, grenade, and spade.

And yeah, what kmaj said about forks. And no, we're not talking about this...

I'm doing what I think is best and not polluting this game with that fucking SMG.

HOLD ON ONE SECOND..... You said, "forks"? As in modding can be fully server side? For example, if I wanted a Star Trek theme server, I could add a fork to make it so the skins show Star Trek stuff!?

I was refraining from using that very word...

If YOU don't do the fucking off, I will ask an admin to keep you off this thread somehow, even if it means you getting banned for a day or so.

Yep! You can do a lot more than just that though, you can replace the client logic too.
