What is it?

What a great looking map and set of tutorials!
I started out doing all my maps in a 2D application called Texture maker. Making height maps are essential for great terrains :)
+1 for the awesome screenshots from openspades!

Thanks! I'd go so far as to say that heightmaps are the most important part of the map, so having a good one is definitely a bonus.
OpenSpades just makes things look so much better than default AoS.

Thanks for going to the effort of making the iso render, but I've decided to use my own. There are strange pixels in the trees and I was originally going to do my own anyways, but I forgot and I haven't had a chance to do so til now.

impressive, the heightmap is really well done and the color noise on the ground also looks really cool (I've always been a fan of that kind of noisy ground, it also reminds me a bit of your summerfields map which might be my favourite map from you).
I'm going to add it to HOMO - Tow. I might also add it to the babel server after some more testing.
