I was looking to make a arena map, counterstrike like. Ok I've tried blockman and GIMP, but I feel they're move for full maps, for getting nice textures. I also tried hosting a build server, but how do I save, then resume later? How can I hand build a map or make one one the same detail as the counterstrike maps?
To summerise
How can I hand build?
How do I save maps I'm building in?
Are there any alternatives to hand building, or any tips to make it easier?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks.
So I want to build a map.

By pressing F1 in 0.75 or 0.76 ;To save maps you are building in.
Voxed is basically the same as building in game, it should come with .75 or .76.
In voxed you can import KV6 models by pressing x, this means you can make the terrain and then import buildings or plants.
You can make KV6 models by using Slab6 which was made by ken silvermen.
You can also you a heightmap to make the terrain if it is to hard.
I recommend looking up tutorials for Voxed because it is very hard to use.
