Hello, my name is $oldierboy and you can say I'm kind of a long time modder, tho I have lost my files you can see my previous work on my imgur profile. I made a couple of skins for AoS and after the big Jagex thing I kinda got lost and wasn't very active but now with OpenSpades I got interested in the game again, and I have to say, this is what 1.0 should of been. So I've decided to start modding again and get off my lazy fatass (or at least do something with my time on the computer). I will be taking requests and will be making them in my free& out of laziness time so please, have patience. Oh and also, please report feedback, suggest or just show me what's wrong/should be like.

List of skins/mods by order:
I. Weapon Skins ( Spade, rifle, smg, shotgun, grenade (and maybe block) skins)
1. World War 1 weapons (none, for now, but don't you worry, I'll be making some for sure)
2. World War 2 weapons
- German (Model 24 Stielhandgranate, Gewehr 41 (Scoped varient included), Sturmgewehr (Mp 44/Stg 44, scoped version included), Maschinenpistole 40 (Mp 40))
- American (M1(A1) Carbine, M1A1 Thompson, M3 "Greasegun" submachine gun, M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle, Winchester Model 1912)
- British (Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk. I, and lend-lease used weapons: M1A1 Thompson, M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle and the Winchester Model 1912)
3. Modern (World) War (3) weapons (none, for now, but I will be making some, and will be taking requests on these)
II. Player skins (Character skin, that includes head, body, limbs and dead skins)
1. World War 1 uniforms (none, for now, will make a couple at a later date)

Ace of Spades 1.0 kinda Deuce skin

I will be providing a few downloads so that if one doesn't work hopefully the other will and will be shortening the links, when I remember how. As for why I made this skin, I took inspiration from the Ace of Spades 1.0 Deuce, he looks like some Commando/Airborne type which I like. I like the Deuce because he's simply our silent, faceless hero we all know and love and I feel that this skin just adds some more badassery to him. Oh and btw, if you're wondering what that grey and white thing on the left strap is, it's the flashlight (you can use it by pressing "f" if you didn't know how), Airborne had that strapped to them so they can see the maps and where they were going in the dark, I made it because I felt like it needed some realism. I also thought about replacing the backpack on the back with a shovel and replacing a few pockets with grenades but it would be silly if you had your shovel out and it was on your back at the same time or throwing all of your grenades and still having them on you, get me?

Note: These files are not compatible with AoS version 0.75 or 0.76! I have also listed instructions on how to install the skins.

This is a military grade tent that can house at least 2 Deuces, their equipment, plus blocks for building, ammo for shooting and food for healing, no wait, that's a first aid kit, this ain't minecraft!

Backpack Radio

This military radio will you provide you the firepower you need when you deliver the enemy's radio to your HQ tent and your superiors smile at you, if not, bad luck it's back to peeling potatoes. Oh and, the handle determines which is which's radio if you haven't already noticed.

Note: These skins are compatible with versions 0.75 and 0.76 of the game unlike the Player skins.

The weapons are heavily modified versions by me but I do not take credit for making them. These are the only German weapons I am going to make because they have the correct loading mechanism tho I also like the FG42 it would look weird and akward when loading it oh and also the K98k. I will also be making a TF2 Soldier set and a WW2 US Soldier one as well (the following weapons which I will be making: M1 and M1A1 Carbine, M1A1 Thomson, a few shotguns and the BAR, again, because of the loading mechanisms, oh and 2 shotguns, the Winchester M1897 and Winchester M1912 or just M12), I'm also trying to make a Spartan and a Roman Legionary set so stay tuned.

Instructions on how to install:

Step 1. Go to the OpenSpades folder.
Note: You don't get to install OpenSpades, you launch the game from the exe. in the folder it'self.
Step 2. Go to the Resources folder.
Step 3. Open the Models file.
Note: The Models, Sounds and Base files are PAK files so you will need a zip program like WinZIP, WinRAR or 7Zip to open them.
Step 4. Drag the kv6 files to the specificated folder, if you have a weapon skins you send the files to the weapon folder, if you have player skins you send them to the player folder and so on.
Note: Backup old files, if you forgot to do so before you replaced the files here are 2 links to get them from (it's the whole Resource folder btw):

Step 5. (Optional)
If the skin/model has a few versions/varients you will need to rename the weapon to Weapon and without it's magazine model to WeaponNoMagazine, magazines remain the same.

I also have them in some zips/rars/folders skins but if it's a single file I won't bother with adding it.

I am a WW1/WW2 maniac so I will be making some skins from those eras when I feel like it and have some inspiration, tho I will also make modern or futuristic skins if requested. And again, please leave feedback.

It's already done, just find it and install it, nothing to it, I want to do something unique.

Nope there are no Thompson or MP 40 for OpenSpades. I'd like to see some classic weapons like Lee Einfield or PPSh-41 in the game.

No I mean, if somebody has already done them you could use them in OpenSpades, both use kv6 files and all files are compatible, OpenSpades just elimates the borders of the player skin, nothing more.

Thanks everybody, means alot! I've also updated the Ace of Spades 1.0 kinda Deuce skin a little bit and I've added new stuff and I'm going for WW2 weapons atm so check daily for new updates!

I know.... but as I said I don't have the time to do every single one and that's why I've added a description to each one.

You should use "[img]"[/img]"to make your pictures visible on the thread without having to actually click the link to see how the weapon looks like.
