Trying my hand at modding

Hello all, I decided to try my hand at modding skins and the likes. My first set of gun skins are going to be railguns, and if you want anything else, dont be afraid to request!
WARNING: I'm new as hell, and all guns will be ~same size as the defaults to avoid messing up animations and the likes.
Also, any tips for a newbie? I'm not asking for a full blown tutorial, just little tips that could help make my mods improved.
Got a picture up! Tell me if you want more

Man I think this gun looks really good for a first try! Can I have a download link?

As I said I'm still new, so I'm still trying to figure out everything, but as soon as I get it all sorted out it's all yours (: And the FN FAL is for the semi btw, let me know if you're wanting an smg version and i'll make one

Glad to see some new modders here who put some effort in it! It looks very nice for a first try, don't worry, you'll improve quickly when you'll figure out how it actually works.
I haven't any tip now (a bit too tired for thinking about it, to be honest) but if you're patient enough, I'll make a full tutorial on OpenSpades modding, that'll cover pretty much everything but advanced scripting. You can also check my mods and mess a bit with it, to help you figuring out how things are actually working in OS (just don't pay attention to bolt.kv6 models, these are added by me to add custom animations. The size of my guns is also halved IG, just consider two blocks of one of my rifles as one block on yours. And if you see a weaponcomplete.kv6 file, it's just here to serve preview purposes.)
EDIT: Can you add an in-game screenshot, to see how it looks?

wow, awesome mod!
also, if your new at modding, it would probably be the better idea to start to mod for build and shoot first, not ace of spades. its much simpler, or at least thats what i have heard.

i like to call it AoS BnS because theres a steam version called AoS.
btw i mean AoS, for the modding thing.
