Imo, scripting the pivots would be hell a lot worse to work with. (As if working with pivots isn't a piece of shit already....)

i hate trial and error :I
I also hate having to switch between OS and slab 6 to see how sexy looking your gun model is. It's a pain in the ass to open and close OS. I wish there was a third party software where it would work with slab6 in a way so that it would give you a preview of what it would look like in game.

Well.......
I have found a way around that. I use ConfigItem("d_x").FloatValue or something like that.
So you can adjust positions while in-game, write down on paper, ??? and profit. I've explained this concept to some modder, don't remember who. Maybe Evergreen, all I remember is he got AWP on the way and wanted to do bolt-cycle animation.
