(Request/Discussion) Voice Commands

I was wondering about a script for voice commands, if that's possible. Like, press 'x' and a list comes up ('1: Help! 2. Retreat! 3. Area clear. 4. We need a defensive structure here 5. Charge! 6. Incoming... 7. Take down their cover! 8. I'm injured!). I mean, not with actual voice lines, but it's a quick way to communicate with your team mates and could turn the tide of a game.

So, when you press the specific button, and choose a command, it would appear in the chat as ('VOICE: Help!) and would only be visible to team mates, much in the style that TF2 employs, for example.

Just wondering if this would be possible, or if it's a little too far fetched for 0.75/0.76

It probably would work, if somebody would script it. I don't think it has been made yet though.

I actually do have those phrases already written up on my keyboard macros. It would be easier if it was implemented into the game. Hurr durr Inb4 all scripters rage at me for not attempting to learn how to code.

its not possible the way you are asking it to be, we can't add a command to a key and make it pop out a menu. its not possible (unless we modify a already existing key, but that would be messy or if we use something like modloader but then that's not scripting its modding). But we can have commands for it if you want.
