Weapon suggestion thread

As some of you may have seen I added an AR to OS. I really do want to add some new weapons so I thought I'd ask you guys what you wanted. People have suggested an LMG for cover fire and a bolt-action sniper. Please note that anything besides a normal gun could take a very long time e.g. a rocket launcher. Also note that these can only be used on a modified version of PySnip so you won't be able to use them on all servers. I'll host a server with the new weapons on them and post builds (as well as upload the source) so you guys can have a play with any weapons I decide to add. So yeah, what guns would you guys like?

This thread is a good idea :).
Imo assalt rifles (ar) and smgs are to similar. I'd like to split the automatic weapons up to smgs and lmgs.
Suggestion:
Changes for the smg:
- higher rate of fire, reduced ammo clip size, the recoil will increase due to the higher rate of fire, a bit less damage per bullet

LMG:
- higher damage per bullet than the smg, extremely large mag size and extremely long reload time, relatively slow rate of figher, MAYBE a bipod ? or suppression ?, higher horizontal recoil

Smoke grenades:
- normal grenades already produce smoke, maybe smoke nades aren't much work
- only 1 grenade from start

The most important suggestion: Pistols
I thought about 3 different pistols you can choose from (we could try a normal one first):
- semi-auto (normal rate of fire), normal clip size and normal reload (m9)
- full-auto (fast rate of fire), large clip size, normal reload, less damage and more recoil(g18)
- semi-auto (slow rate of fire), small clip size, long reload, high damage (magnum)

I'd personally remove the SMG completely and let the Shotgun be the only close-range weapon. LMG gets to be a defensive, covering weapon, and a Semi-Auto Rifle serves as the main infantry aggressive weapon.

I, for one, I think there should be two pistols, a revolver, and a regular clip one, with the re okver being stronger. And Lmgs usually have pretty high rates of fire, hence being good for suppression.

I stand corrected o_o.

Well, anyhow, we still want a LMG.

I was also thinking more about the pistols.

there would be two:

M9 and Revolver

the M9 has a 20 round clip, while the revolver has 6 shots.
the revolver has good dmg, but shoots as a semi, while the M9 can be shot automatically.
M9 is weaker, but faster, and has more in its clip.

Since when shoots a m9 automatically ? + it has 15 rounds clips.
Could you pls ask google before you post something arkger ? We could save us so much confusion.

I'm thinking more along the lines of an M1911 or similar large caliber as a pistol.

Please, no fucking two pistols. One with medium damage is enough, think M1911. Adding one automatic pistol and a revolver just over-complicates stuff.

Pistol, semi or auto as secondary, would be 'very nice' - borat, I recommend a pistol like a .57 for semi and a glock for full auto. I'd also be happy if I could model these :D
