hey there! I just downloaded and installed OpenSpades, everything runs smooth, but every time I open it, it says (attachment), and thus every custom setting is lost after I close the game.. what could solve my problem?

OS saves its settings into C:/ disk, ("C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\OpenSpades\Resources\SPConfig.cfg" on Win XP to be exact) so I guess you are not allowed to change settings because you have restricted access to C:/ disk?
Ask yvt if he's still around he should really change this
Try to go to that directory and see if you can change the file...
