Ok, I know I have a cruddy computer but I want to know what options I can disable so it can run faster. Give me all the options that would reduce lag Thx!

Turn all settings to the lowest possible. Upgrade your computer or buy a new one.

how do I know which settings not to press? Should I put 1 for IgnoreallGlerrors? Should I turn off framebuffer?

On Post FX you should always disable Camera Blur imo, I get 30fps less only because of that.

Just turn down the main settings, you don't need to touch the advanced ones.

well really it is a type of lag (framerate lag, as opposed to network lag)... and really "correcting" him wouldn't have been necessary at all even if he had been technically wrong; everyone understood him perfectly anyway

on topic, make sure cg_debugAim, r_depthOfField, r_cameraBlur are all 0 (last two should be set by choosing the lowest options for graphics on the initial menu but doublecheck if you want to)
try lowering your resolution a bit if you aren't already running it low
