Build and Shoot

I was able to play 0.0.9 but when I updated today it crashes when I get to the server menu. I can't play and i just got my friend to download it today :(

it won't let me post the .dmp file

When you say you tried to update, what did you do?

I went to the open spades website and downloaded the new 0.0.10 version. but now 0.0.9 also won't work it just says this

didn't see the server was full which was the cause of the 0.0.9 error

Delete your openspades folder and try reinstalling 0.010

That didn't work i got an error and the crash report, OpenSpadesCrash75816595, is on the desktop now and like I said it won't let me put up the dump file here on the forum and I don't know how other places like dropbox or mediafire work

Can you explain in a detailed way what you actually did, there is no such thing as 'reinstalling' or 'installing', are you accidentally putting 0.0.10 files into the 0.0.9 folder or something?

You don't have to go around showing off your work, it's not 'the installer' it's an unnoficial one you made, either way, delete the openspades folder and just download the 0.0.10 one and try running it.

The only thing I do before it crashes is click the application and after a few seconds on the server select screen it crashes and gives me the crash report pop up.

Could it be the the fact that I'm running it on an old laptop that is running a 32-Bit windows vista OS?

Could be. I don't think the OS is the problem but having an old video card would really effect the game. On my "new" laptop from a year ago or so I get around 25 FPS on open-spades. As long as your GPU supports openGL 2.0 or higher you will be fine, since your OS and computer are old though it might not support it thus giving you an error.

but 0.0.9 still works on here, and the crash happens when i go to the server select screen.
