EDIT- 1shot1kill, who fucking cares? You think it's better if he leaves and never plays again? Make a rule then that scores are not forum worthy, but do not be an ass to someone who was proud of their first high score. People like you are no better than Jagex! I am so sick of hearing that Jagex ruined this game when it was our own community full of arrogant assholes who pushed people out! Just say "you should not post this in the forum", then they see that scores should not be posted but they do not feel like they are being pushed out! How is that so hard to understand?
The point of disapproving this is to stop other people posting similar topics and lowering the quality of posts on this forum. The game is not ruined because of certain members of the BnS Forum, it is partly Jagex's fault of buying out AoS, how it treats it and it's community and segregating it, but mostly because of people who think that one map (Hallway) and one version (0.75) who think that these were the work of God. If only we could encourage more people to play other maps and other versions, but that is unlikely to work considering how these people are unreceptive to change.

We agree to a point (about maps and versions) but I feel that someone could have just said "you shouldn't post scores in the forum" instead of all the unnecessary asshole remarks that were posted!

Yeah, the game's not ruined because the majority likes something you don't. The thing people don't realize is that all of the classic purists on the forum are a vocal minority of the community as a whole.

As for the thread, it's just the usual shitposters trying to run off a new guy again because maybe he's not as ingrained in forum etiquette as some of us.

There weren't any asshole remarks, just people stating that unnecessary threads like these shouldn't be posted, and posting their feelings.

Most people on BnS would agree with me that a wider variety of maps and versions are needed, so it wouldn't be just me. A lot of people here want to see some change, but the same cannot be said for the whole playerbase. But it is hard to say that a game which has stopped development and people playing the same boring map would be good. And for your second part of the post, look at my reply to SWayKills.

Thank you Reuben.

Purists remember when hallway was one of the only maps lol. My favorite is (which came much later) Market Garden. I still play a lot of hallway because its usually open, why is this an issue?

AND the issue is that most people on BnS (like you) are the new age assholes that I am talking about. You argue instead of understand. You talk instead of listen. You do good work in the mods section, but that doesn't mean shit when you are a closed minded, arrogant, asshole. ENOUGH SAID!

It is an issue to people who would like to play more than one map, and to people who don't like to play in a narrow line and sniping at the foglines, and people who don't want to get spawnkilled by other people who camp from above. If people only ever play one map, they get the impression that is what AoS is all about, when in reality there is a lot more that is unexplored for them.

True, but even then, the forums are a minority of the playerbase as a whole. And people liking Hallway is nothing new, it and Pinpoint were always the most popular maps even in the beginning.

And yes they were stating their feelings in a rude way.

Just because they're both popular doesn't make them good, there are a lot of things that are popular (for example, the 2 main political parties in the USA, Democratic & Republican are both very popular, but a lot of people think that they are both quite bad).

I agree that the feedback could have been more friendly, but it doesn't mean that they were trying to flame the OP.

Well yeah, nobody's saying you have to like everything, but you should respect that a majority of people do.

I do acknowledge that a lot of people who play AoS seem to be fans of Hallway, but it doesn't mean I approve of that.

If my monitor wasn't so bright I would have thought that was all black, it pretty much is anyway.
