Are there any selection tools for slab6 or anyway to move the model?

Is there also a way to check the co-ordinates of a voxel?

And finally, I can't seem to set slab6 as the default program for kv6 files. The App is located in a folder on my desktop

The folder needs to be a folder and not a .zip or other type of compressed file. Slab6 is a model editing tool. You can move the model around in voxed using the num-pad on your keyboard. You can edit the pivots in the slice editor.

Based Drew, Thanks a bunch
In case anyone wants to know, I'm trying my hand at an AK5c
If I'm not horrible at gimp, I'll try doing it Skynet's way, with a grid

  • WASD while holding left click
  • Arrow keys
  • Press "Enter" to get your palette to colour you model > put cursor over desired colour > right click to select > put cursor over model > "Space" will cover voxels as your cursor hovers over them/ Press "C" will colour all of the same shade on the model
  • While hovering over a colour on the palette the colours and be modified manually > Above the palette is the RGB values of the colour selected > Numpad keys: 4 and 1 control Red values, Numpad keys: 5 and 2 control Green values, Numpad keys: 6 and 3 control Blue values
  • Press "." and "," for horizontal rotation
  • Press "PageUp" and "PageDown" for vertical rotation
  • Tools > Adjust pivots > put cursor over out of the "axes" that will appear on the bottom left, then use arrows keys
  • Replace palette and convert colours > find your "semicasing.kv6" > open it
  • Press "Insert" to add voxels, one by one
  • Press "Delete" to remove voxels, one by one
  • Stay the fuck away from "home" and "end" or you are going to have a bad time

You don't have to tell me that twice. Those buttons are just pure evil.

Just a small thing that I've noticed, the position of the 'pivot' on a model decides how the player will hold it and how it's rendered as a view model as well.

Well, time to update my weapons again.
