Build and Shoot

Hello,

I was on an aloha server, just playing the most horrible map in existence ever (couch hallway couch) because every other populated server had this as well. I as minding my own business when suddenly some asshole killed me with his smg. He had 0 deaths and 8 kills, and was on my team. I don't know if there are rules against ''naming and shaming'' here, but his name was gabriel. I didn't do anything to him, if anything I helped the team. I've always noticed this. Is it a hack, or a permission from a mod, or even a scarcely known command? Thanks, because I keep getting team killed on many servers, without them say fall damage.

It's probably because you had destroyed a block recently. When you destroy a block, you can get killed by a teammate. Basically a anti-greif.

It is an anti-griefing feature. When a player breaks a block, there is a short timespan of, IIRC, around 2 or 3 seconds, in which he can be killed by friendly fire. It can be easily abused by some of the more immature players, though.
If someone keeps doing this to you and other people in your team, that is justa causa for a votekick in most servers.
