Build and Shoot

Hey guys, the AceOfSpades server list has been down most of the day from what I understand. I just posted a thread on the forums there to redirect people to the new site. If it starts falling back in the pile of AOS trash, please bump it to the top in a not obvious way.

So did we see a bump in buildandshoot traffic during the long hours the server list was down? or nothing too special?

I'm curious about this too actually.

This isnt the most scientific analysis but the last time I looked at the total members before there outage it was 226 and this morning it was 282 members. that is a 24% uptick is registration.

I'm going to assume you were talking about the thread titled Server list is currently broken. Go to www.buildandshoot.com. Seems they deleted it :P

Gotta love how they put petty rivalry over helping the users.

Actually, I'll take credit for that. I left a suggestion on the thread asking them to delete it now that it is irrelevant. I didn't want it getting occasional bumps and causing confusion... causing them to lock down the thread and discouraging that type of thing in the future.

I should create a new thread titled "When the server list goes down..." or something like that.

Something like "In the case the main serverlist goes down, try the fan-maintained backup at www.buildandshoot.com"?
