Why the game is dying

It's because you idiots only play the crap-tastic .75 version instead of the far superior .54 version. Seriously, these "maps" and "game modes" are complete ass. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for ruining a good game with this horseshit. I heard about build and shoot and was excited to see an Ace of Spades community with some life, but this is terrible. Horrible. I'm physically ill.
I am going to go hang myself now and it's all your fault. Good job. Murderers.

Someday the old versions will have something for them; StackOverflow was working on a 0.35 fix for B&S last I knew and.. I have some plans of my own. I can understand how people could enjoy the earlier game but loathe the newer versions, the game really did seem to accelerate down a narrow path from how it was originally. I can't say I didn't enjoy that path but what we ended up with, 0.76 is a bit better than 0.75 to play, but it's still a very similar game just with a few balancing tweaks. It's more the public community, the servers and choice of maps which makes it stale. The other thing is that the game's mechanics are just so raw that not playing and keeping up the muscle memory really does hinder your performance and, in turn, enjoyment, at least for me.
But yeah, I can understand where the guy is coming from, don't know why we've got so many silly responses here, after all it is still usable feedback.

Contrary to the posts you are getting, some people will actually feel the same way. It's apparent that the earlier versions stuck closer to what AoS is supposed to be, and I have to agree with you on that one.
