Build and Shoot

It took forever, but thanks to all that helped with this insanely arbitrary build thing! Client is OpenSpades 0.0.9b and the skin pack is my custom one. Also general KLAP east coast discussion.

I'm glad no one was trying to destroy it. That was awesome. If everybody on AoS was like this guys it would be another game. Thanks everyone that helped.

Uhm, exactly what part of that wasn't mature? That was a little cynical, pointless, down right spiteful. He simply was showing the forums what He built. So why criticize him for that? There was nothing immature about that at all. In fact, to be blunt, what you just wrote was immature. I'm not trying to be mean but I expected better.

So why put him down for sharing his picture of him building something.
AOS wouldn't be what it is without the building factor. weather or not it's silly or practical. It is in fact a game.
You don't have to put him down in the process of sharing your opinion.

You'd rather have hackers? Okay? then go play COD or CS or any of the other hundreds of shooters full of hacking with no building. But instead you come to the one game that has Building? Where obviously people are going to have fun and construct things. Mature members? Uhm I know for a fact several of the mature elder members build things.

And if we want to get technical. What he built wasn't silly at all. He made a stair case to the top of the map on Hallway to have the ability to allow multiple team mates to climb the wall and not be decimated if an enemy is at the top. Which also allows multiple players to the other side easily to have an Arial advantage. If you look at it it's obvious he made the effort to help his team, by allowing them to take control of one of the most strategic positions in Hallway.

When did I put him down for sharing his picture? also aren't you yelling at me for sharing my opinion which is the same thing I did to him? There for we have done the same thing.

I also never said buildings was bad or that it should be discouraged I said that if the game was more focused on building it wouldn't be the same game. You called the game BUILD&SHOOT so doesn't that mean just building but BOTH building AND shooting. It is the combination of both that makes game modes like babel great. You are yelling to me about things I didn't even say. I never said anything about "mature members building things". In the end I said my opinion and you won't change it, I like the shooting in AoS as it is unlike any other game and the building ties the game together however I don't think building should be the main focus of the game. Sorry for any grammar mistakes my laptop has a weird keyboard.

I didn't say that you said it was bad or discouraged. I said, that you said the above. It was silly. When it's called Build and shoot. So it's not silly at all to build. I meant that the majority of BnS are mature. Majority not all. Meaning many mature players build. So it's not silly.

You basically undermined what he said to get your opinion in. And that is pointless.

You have no clue whether or not he was building, shooting, or a combination of the both. He said he had help. So he could have been shooting just the same amount as building.

I don't have a problem with your opinion. What I have a problem is, is people undermining others to get there opinion out there. Especially when it's something as stupid as a cynical statement such as. what you said. Oh if there was more people like him in the game. the majority wouldn't want to play. That basically says no one would want to play with him? It was just a pointless put down that had no real goal.

I never said the game was all building it wouldn't. I agree. This is a trench based FPS/construction game. And just happens to focus a little more on the FPS. Building is an integral part of the game. Y'all are missing the entire point. I Don't give crap where building lies in the whole of things.
It just irritated me that he posted a pointless post undermining some one for no reason? This was a post on Him showing his staircase. He got a good review. Then he came in and said that BS? it was really stupid? He could have shared his opinion without saying oh if the game had more people like you I'd be absolute shit?
