Zombies alternative?

Hey guys,

I've been working on a script for a slightly modified zombies script where humans actually get infected and become zombies themselves. Makes for more of a short round-based game (maybe like arena?).

Implemented:
  • a human killed by a zom respawns in the same spot as a zombie
  • a zombie not headshotted respawns in the same spot
  • Players with best scores (or volunteers) get chosen as new alphas
  • other basic team changing stuff (can't switch teams in the middle of a round)
Not implemented (yet):
  • Zombies can only use spade
  • Zombies have less (or more?) health
  • Humans get refills somehow
  • alpha zombies have some sort of special power ?
  • zombies unlock special powers after a certain number of kills ?
Kk. Haven't worked on it in awhile, but should get around to finishing it in a day or two.

Ok well I have the main "turning" thing down. Should the alpha zombies have any special powers? Should the zombies have less health? I've currently made it so that zombies will respawn where they die (so humans will have to keep running maybe and can't just camp), unless they're headshotted (then they do a full respawn). Bad idea?

I mean how it is right now it could probably work in conjunction with existing zombies script, but zombies would probably be OP.

That's OK, it's like a body shot to incapacitate but a headshot to kill. I would say that zombies shouldn't be able to jump so easily, because if they could then the mode wouldn't last very long.

Although I have yet to get zombies working on my system, I always thought the humans were a little OP. I think the zombies by nature should be higher so I pumped their health up a lot.
