Mini-CTF? Game mode? Or map style?

Hello,

I noticed there is a French server , “CallOfLiberty mCtf Top10 24/7“ , Running a Mini-CTF game mode. I was wondering if this is a new mod? Or is it just small maps? ( awesome game-play!! aos://774716197:32867 )

We were going over community-pack names today and this one came up for the CTF branch. I do not want to take any names, or confuse the pack with something that already exists.

If this is just small, well crafted maps, Then I would love for the community pack to support it.

If there is already a proper definition of this could someone please clue me in? Are they under a certain size? Do they need special map.txt script support?

Are other developers welcome to make things for it?

Hey,

Well, Animus firstly opened a "Mini-ctf" server; he is still ON but sometimes crashing. The idea was to play on small maps or middle-sized one; with a kind of game mode. We used rampage script (made by hompy if i remember) and even a modified airstrike script. The idea was to give people ammo back (and heal), to create an intensive fight, on a small area. Serious_Sim reduced his map and created cool mini maps for that.

Later, owner of CallOfLiberty wanted to create a server with same settings, and we were ok with that ^^ I'm not sure if he created a specifical script. It's not really a new mode; and it's not just small maps !
For the .txt you just have to put at least 2 protected spawn for each team; and we haven't define a size (like 200x200); the map just have to be small and include some rooms and closed area, etc

There isn't any restriction for that ^^ If you create a map it could easily be used into this game mode.
