Does anyone else have this problem?

So I recently built a rather high powered computer and began running AoS on it.
Thing is, compared to my crap computer, this one ran the game even worse! The framerate was so choppy, it was not even funny! My old computer ran the game smoothly, but the more powerful one just coughs and poots.
I know very well it is not my connection because I have a decent internet company and I'm plugged directly into the router.
So I tried looking around to fix the problem because I believe the problem is my GPU (I have a GTX 650). Except, the intructions aren't really definitive and I have NO idea what I'm doing!
Does anyone know what I can do?
Thanks.

I also have a 650. Why do you think the GPU is the problem? Also, what are the specs of the rest of your PC. I sometimes get rather odd drops in FPS, but they usually don't last very long. If FPS is the problem, then internet shouldn't have anything to do with it.
Also, welcome to the forums!

The VOXLAP Engine (The engine Ace of spades beta uses) Is optimised for older computers, So newer computers can have an fps drop, when I got a new computer my fps dropped a bit (I think).

I have an AMD FX 8320 Eight core processor, eight gigs of RAM (Not sure of brand, but it's the common one), ASUS M5A97 R 2.0 motherboard. It runs Windows 8. You already know the GPU.
The old computer has an AMD Anthlon x2 Processor, three gigs of RAM, some kind of motherboard from HP. The model is the Pavilion Slimline. It runs Windows Vista. I do not know what the GPU is.

Well since now you can play games from this century, I can advise you to leave AoS behind where it belongs and move on to something more suitable for your PC and internet speed. Otherwise, you're wasting a good PC.

Have you looked at the ram? Some times having an 1 gb chip with a 2 gb chip will caus issues . As well as using bare min. Ram amount. Check that. Ram runs together with a lot of other things in your computer. Other than that idk what to tell you. Mine ran fine with a compaq hp presario62 with a dual proc. and two gb ram. I have a 64 bit as well and it runs smoothly.

Have you tried looking at the download section and compare all the requirements ?
