Build and Shoot

Heres what I think would be good for a new AOC:

-The Fancy/Fast option (like the one in Minecraft.)
-All 3 original weapons without any changes.
-The RPG and a helicopter.
-Still works on a granny's computer.
-Free!
-Mod Compatible.
-Ran out of ideas.

This is the only thing in the list that I disagree with with a passion. The 0.75 weapon balance is fucking awful, and to rub salt into the wound contains an SMG.

Other than that... well, you're not really expanding your horizons much.

With that said, we already have a thread for this which really needs to be stickied.

Are you honestly expecting a company to make all these changes and then make the game free? Good luck with that (and no, Jagex isn't Valve)

I think having lighter specs along with less "features" (read: clutter) is what the game should be about. No Fancy/Fast, everything is just "Fast" (and you can make custom HQ skins...).

If I talk about weapon balance it'll just incur some pointless debate on the OP-ness of the SMG, why rifles should have damage dropoff, and/or why the shotgun sucks and should be rebalanced...so I'll skip the weapon balance. However, introducing new weapons just makes balancing even more complicated. I fear Jagex may head down the unlockable/buyable-weapons route like UberStrike, which detracts from the game's initial focus on skills alone.
