Build and Shoot

Hi,

One extremely annoying thing about AoS is lack of quality control. It's very hard to find matches with a good deal of players AND people who cooperate with the rest of the team.

Every match I go, there's one guy who throws grenades everywhere and destroys the bridge or whatever I was trying to make, which leads me to the next point. People don't want to build together. Yes, there's that rare occasion that the guy right next to you figures out what you're trying to make, but the rest just go along with their day. Griefers are rampant in large servers, and people aren't paying attention to chat to vote /y when votekicks occur.

This is intolerable. I have tried IRC and Mumble to form a party, but none listen either. (I do not want to join a clan; these fade easily, and it's hard to coordinate a group match across different time zones.)

Where can I find people like me and form a party or a group match where I know that people are willing to cooperate and play AoS like it's supposed to be played? Thanks.

Hello, I am always on mumble as well as a bunch of other people who would play with you. Though we don't play Ace of Spades all the time we do have a lot of fun when we do and if you asked I am sure most of us would join you. I also lead a pretty good clan where we are always playing matches together. My clan also only allows players from the north and south American timezones so that there is never a conflict with the time. Though you have said you tried both so I don't know what to tell you. The mumble server is buildandshoot.mumble.com and you can join my clan/group by clicking the image in my signature if you so chose,

Check out Minit servers. They usually have a pretty good community in them, and they have a mumble.

Your attitude towards clans is extremely truthful, but a little cynical :p

Alternatively, in the coming weeks I'm going to try and organise a "Green vs Blue" ongoing league-type series of events with accompanying propaganda competition/s on some of the more classic, building-focused maps.
