How do I join servers with mods? Is there another server list?

What are you talking about? Mods are just texture packs. Click a server and you will see.

If you mean a mod as in a mod for minecraft or halflife then yes. The only real "mod" for AoS would be powerthurst.

You forgot about modloader which is actually for loading skins.
Oh, and ovl075 which is a first person spectate tool.
But yeah, when they say mods, they actually mean skins. Back up all your AoS files, and then unzip over it or something.
0.75 Powerthirst Edition is probably the only mod that actually requires a special client / server - if you don't have a special server, it'll just fall back to compatibility mode, and if you don't have a special client, you can't connect.
