Keyboard not working in game

I've been playing AoS since the summer now but since today my keyboard has not worked with it. I had a similar problem if I were typing on facebook while having it open but I am definitely not doing that right now. Other than that it has worked faultlessly.
Anybody got any advice or had similar problems?

Also having this problem, I find that I'm unable to join a team unless I mash the 1,2 and 3 keys, but even then I'm unable to walk in game.

Having the same problems! So because I have no clue, anyone want to contribute any sort of information as to why keyboards aren't functioning anymore

I think i've figured this out. It seems that turning off my antivirus software fixed the controls, for some odd reason. So give that a try if you're having this problem.

Servers are run with pyspades which all it does is allow scripts like babel,tdm,arena, med kit, airstrike etc... I can assure you that servers will not harm your computer as I have no antivirus software and ace of spades or any other game for the matter has never gave me a virus

Sometimes my keyboard and/or mouse wouldn't work for me. In my case I had to update the drivers. Check to see if you have any updates in windows update (if your on windows).

Another issue could be that windows is running something other than AoS that is using your keyboard.

If you keyboard is doing this for everything (other than AoS) then maybe your keyboard is dying.

Well my drivers are up to date and there is no background programs running, on top of that the computer is brand new.

What I did do was change the player name in the config file and that seemed to let me play once on a server before it stopped working again... not sure why.

Turning off my antivirus seemed to do it but I'm hopeful we find a different fix or at least why this has started happening now and it was fine before.
It isn't a driver problem or keyboard problem as there are no updates(I even put its MSN number into the Medion (keyboard brand) website and my keyboard is definitely working (as you can see), you would also be pretty silly to think its something to do with the game if your keyboard is working elsewhere.

Yeah it seems that dropping the virus software works just fine for me now too... makes me nervous but if that is what it takes to play right now then so be it. Glad we could figure a work around for the problem.
