Build and Shoot

How can I protect a map and permit to build in the same time ? If I do /protect A1 or /togglebuild it doesn't work because nobody can build on the map.

Just to clarify, you want to be able to protect areas of the map from everyone, then allow specific people to build in those areas?

Sorry a friend explain to me how to resolve the problem. It was in the config.txt.
