0.75 is more modernized in my opinion

Hard decisions....I may have to go with .75. It sounds weird but I really dislike the .76 shotgun as it tried fixing it without really addressing its problem. It feels weird and nothing like I'd expect it to. At the same time of its strange buff, smg got a massive short range buff and rifle got buffed. Ultimately nothing changed for the better to me. This is all compounded by little things such as the font(IIRC).

It's possible to create a poll, and I definitively choose .76. I love the weapon changes, and the graphics looks awesome.

0.76, the graphics are less ugly and the weapon balance seems to be slightly better, but I honestly can't tell that much since I haven't played it enough. the only bummer is that not many people play .76

0.76 Simply because the rifle is back to it's original accuracy.

I'm personally more of a fan of 0.76, but the UI in 0.76 is absolutely horrible. The chat takes up half of the screen.

Definitely .75, I just never liked the changes in .76 apart from the fact that it can't be hacked.

STRIKE081 wrote:0.76 Simply because the rifle is back to it's original accuracy. Green_BigSmileIncorrect, it WAS in RC1, but in the current 0.76 RC it's at the 0.70 accuracy (I think - it's 0.004, whereas 0.75 is 0.006 and 0.60 is 0.003).
The 0.60 accuracy was better as you were actually guaranteed a hit within half a block if you hit someone at the fog range.
0.004 only gives you a 79% chance... still better than the 35% (? my memory isn't very good) of 0.75.
Anyway, 0.76 has damage falloff, so no real need to let the accuracy be shit. I'm tempted to do an acclient for 0.76 if anyone's keen, but it's probably not a good idea to fix the CRC on it.
Here's 0.76's damage stats (do NOT ask me what these are, i suspect the 80 isn't a damage stat though):
Rifle: 60, 180, 50, 50, 80, 50
SMG: 40, 60, 20, 20, 80, 26
Shotgun: 40, 60, 20, 20, 80, 34 (8 pallets per shot)
But yeah, 0.76 is better because:
1. The rifle spread is notably less bullshit
2. Crouchpopping is actually counterable with skill (crouchpopper here!)
3. The damage values are much saner (75 headshot damage from an SMG is just bullshit)
4. It actually runs smoothly without getting fucked over by the font renderer every time it has to change the font colour - I remember trying to make a cp076 but IIRC the colours stayed the same when I activated it late. Maybe I should make a cp075?
