Build and Shoot

Who remembers the spider towers in the days of yore? I do. If you are going to participate in the leagues, your team is going to need to know how to make one.

The best way to guard your intel is to lift it high into the sky. If you bury it, you cant defend it. Tunnel rats will get it. Also if you tower is only a single column, it is just as bad as burying. So you need to build a multi column structure that attaches to the main column as several points.

There is still a balancing act, you dont want to make your columns so thick a tunnel rat could hide in them, and you dont want to create a maze of supporting columns that makes it near impossible for you to kill an enemy without you damages your tower.

i always do it like this

and so on in 90 dergree "arms"

or do it just as a wall 1 *endless*endless with the thin side oriented to the enemy

l+I= supports
j = inteltower
.= space
firdt holds till someone griefes hit it hard and with only one grifer you can suupport it for additional 6 minutes or so
try to make the room directly beneath the j tower hollow so you will see tunnelrats whe they come from underground
it is basicly the wallthing with unlimeted "arms" that spread in 90° angles and has holes to shoot the bad guys
also i have seen someone mistaking it for a jumppuzzel and fall to his death

I love making these, on random servers it pretty much guarantees that your team will win because no one knows how to deal with them.

That's going to make the Leauges very fun.
Luckily I have Babel griefing down the opposing teams tower "experience".
