No, this isn't another 'stop the hackers' thread. I am getting annoyed about these things:

(1) delayed kills

I'm playing classicgen, and I'm in a square bunker atop a hill. I un-crouch, headshot one of the various blue players around me, and duck back down again. "Yesss, I'm safe." I say to myself.

Then I die.

I was crouching behind the bunker. No one could've hit me.
The only possible answer is a delay in-between getting killed, and actually seeing yourself getting killed.
I know it doesn't affect gameplay. But I am talking about delays of about 1-3 seconds here. It picks up your ego, then smashes it on the ground. (This also happens with shotguns. You see the bullets hit them, but when you shot, you were already dead.)
Is there a way to fix it?
(2) Blocks getting destroyed by bullets.

No. This is way too destructive. In iceball, could you do me a favor and DOUBLE THE HEALTH OF FREAKING BLOCKS. I am tired of the smg being a long ranged jackhammer.
(3) One block high bunkers.

This is the worst. I'm talking about bunkers that look like this:

It helps no one. It's got holes in it, so its no use for advancing under cover. The holes are on the second layer, so you cannot duck under it. Useless for when you are under fire.
All you users that do it for the extra smg accuracy- smg is not a sniping weapon. It is for advancing under cover, flanking, assaults and base infiltration.

Yes, there is a way to fix it (AFAIK).
The server could automatically kick everyone with 200 ping or above.

Does it depend solely on the person who is getting killed?
Or does it have anything to do with the ping of the players shooting as well?

The first one is your fault, as it shows that you are lagging.

The first one happens to me a lot as well, even when I've had pings at ~50ms. Doubt that it's lag on my end.

The second one could easily be implemented with a script.

The third one is something that annoys me as well - not only can you not duck out of the way of incoming fire, but a lot of the time they put a roof on it, meaning you have to crouch to move about in it.

Slow-moving crouching + no quick way of dodging enemy fire = death.

The first one happens only when I play on servers that are east of the UK as I live in America, it is just lag so play on servers with a low ping and you will be fine.

I live in New Zealand. there is no server that is actually 'close' to me. I will almost always have at least 120 ping.

Thats not too bad, I only have real lag problems around 200 and at 150ish

You know what annoys me? When on push the fact you can't break your team blocks people always trap you. Also on the nether server spawnkilling is the NUMBER ONE shit.

I get 150 on shams, that is the server where #1 always happens to me

The first is annoying, but usually only happens because I play on US servers a lot. It rarely happens on EU servers for me, but it can still happen when the shooter is lagging annoyingly.

The second is mainly a problem with SMG. Also, I think the rifle in Iceball takes 3 shots to destroy a block.

So many fucking retards play this game - you just have to get used to it. :(

horrible idea

I always have upwards of 250ms ping and I still play fine, dunno what people are complaining about

#1 happens to me on minit servers most of the time and some times on aloha and NO, kicking anyone with a ping higher that 200 is just bull. Most people here fo have a good computer so there fore a lot of them play with pings higher than 200.
