Game crashes on exit

Whenever I open up AoS, it runs normally. However, come time to close it, it almost always crashes my computer. I get a black screen (though the mouse still appears/moves) and have to restart the computer in order to do anything. CTRL ALT DEL doesn't work, nor does using the Windows button; any attempt to leave the game just gives me a black screen.

Has anyone experienced this problem? It's getting really frustrating.
