I tried with 0.75 and with 0.76 and it always tells me that it cannot connect...

I've tried a huge amount of servers, and I've tried repairing the download, but no dice...

How do I fix this so I can play?

Are you behind some sort of firewall that could be blocking it? Can you play other games fine?

Allowed my firewall to let it through. Still told me I could not connect to server.

I turned off my firewall completely, and it still could not connect.... :(

And yes, other games are fine.

Did you ever install Cheat Engine at some stage? (I suspect that really only affects 0.35, though. Someone might have more info on that stopgap measure.)

The name Cheat Engine is not familiar to me....

Unless it's integrated into some Steam game automatically, I don't think I ever downloaded it...

Does a windows forms dialog saying "Server connection failed!" pop up?

Yeah, exactly that.

Do you know what the issue is?

AWESOME.

It works now. Thanks.

Within 5 minutes I can already tell I'm gonna enjoy this more than the Steam version. (well, minus the zombie mode they have. That mode is really fun). This version feel way more tight and balanced, IMO.

That's cool to hear Aegix, remember to tell your friends about this Blue_Wink1

Anyway, we have a zombie mode here as well. I'm not sure if it's any good, never really played it.

I saw it in the gametype demo. It's nifty but not as good. What makes the other one's zombie mode better is the fact that if you die, you are forced to switch to the zombie team, leading to an eventual one man stand against a horde of super-fast monsters that can demolish defenses in seconds. XD (unless that's been added to this game's Zombie mode more recently...)

Aside from that, this version feel so much better. Just played some CTF, and I'm SO glad I can use an SMG on the ground. And not deal with jetpack guys. And that tunnelling and building ACTUALLY MATTER. Blue_Happy3

EDIT: If I get some good mileage from this game, I might spotlight it on my blog at some point. ;) If I do I'll let you know.
