Build and Shoot

I was playing on Stormwind recently and i saw myself.

Yes some dickhead had stolen my name, clan tag and everything. He pissed off pretty quickly after i joined.

I also saw [FF]PABH on another server and i happen to know that it wasn't him because for 1: He used an SMG
And 2: He couldn't shoot for shit!

How can we stop this from happening?

Theres really no way to stop it from happening unless you have a trusted password or something

mabey we could make it like that for iceball or something?

It's something to do server side. You could implement in Iceball or PySnip. Also, the admins had plans for a "safe server" where access would be tied to your forum account.

Ha, I've seen people try and mimic the Sasquatch name a couple times. But I've also seen it happen to other people too. It can be pretty painful XD.

I started working on something for this a while ago, but never got around to finishing it - I should do that...

But yes, I've had at least 2 people using my name in the last couple of weeks, one of which was hacking (although that report came from Linkters, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually himself trying to screw me over).
