Im playing like 2-3 times a week and that just few minutes , It simply got so boring... All the kids griefing , everyone just spamming with the smg and to be real AOS got no point its just spawn kill n' die and for the intel no one cares.
The game is so boring cause the only point of AOS is building and making defences but the players in AOS are Jumping and Running far too fast to have a trenchy map feeling .
All in all its so damn boring.

EDIT: Also the Custom maps killed AOS at least , they are the worst s*** . I simply cant play on such idiotic maps like the big bridge Hallway normandie and the big city maps . This game was meant to take place in maps like classicGen , Where you had to build dig and survive not that you have a pre generated map with Shit load of building that are so over filled that you cant even grief them . Also whats the point of building bunkers in the Bridge map or hallway ? The Custom maps totally killed building , the only good thing in AOS.

Well, I usually try to play everyday, however the game gets boring quite quickly for me recently.

I play about once a week as the game has just gotten boring after playing for more then half a year. That and all the greifers and immature people I have came crossed have ruined my first impression on the overall community. I am also getting boring of the same maps and no one hosting any maps I like. I still love to play assault and normandy once and a while as the game itself is still lots of fun when the community is really into it. I check these forums more then three times a day but only play the game once a week Blue_Tongue

i don't really play as often as i used to. Reasons are mostly what Vucgy said. But I still play every now and then.

I play a few times a month, every now and then I try playing but I just find this game to be incredibly boring. I don't think I've played longer than 20 minutes in a very long time. almost all of the maps that people play on now are boring and just flat, I don't really see the appeal in that, but if you like it then that's alright. I would probably play more often if the maps were better, but even then it's not very fun to play

I also agree with vucgy on the custom maps, the only ones I've really liked were things that looked like they were randomly generated. there have been a few other good ones, but mostly they've just gotten boring. the gen maps and ones based on terrain had enough variation to keep them interesting, as well as the gen ones always being new

I play a few times a week. It's only really fun if my team trys to work together, and that almost never happens :(

That's why I like the mumble events.

Agree 100%

I will comment on the second part of your post too. Many maps do kill building. A long time ago, people mostly made new terrain maps that required more digging and building. Nobody foresaw the change AoS would take because of pre-fab structures. I'll admit, some of my maps really do promote run and gun behavior, but it is so much more rewarding to see that you've built a detailed map too that sometimes how the map plays isn't really in your interest. Also, other factors had a huge impact on the lack of digging and building. But I'm sure you've heard me and others talk about how auto-step, SMG's, the minimap, cap limits, server time limits, resets, and rollbacks all killed Ace of Spades. But it looks like we're never going to go back to the good old days because everyone has had their brain washed and thinks that a better FPS means cloning the stuff that sells on consoles. I still think the only possible salvation lies in a one player zombie mode. But even that is stretching the word "salvation" and changing the values of the game.

Not a lot, but then, I don't play many games at all right now as I'm pretty busy with uni. On top of that, there's Iceball now which I help with when possible.
