We all know that Ace of Spades is an awesome and addictive game.
But Why?
What drew you to the game?

I'll start:

I first was browsing for games like minecraft and i found Ace of Spades when there was still no such thing as an SMG (thank God). I played for about a week before i was asked to join a clan. This wonderful person opened up a whole new world for me at the Ace of Spades forums. I Played and tried to get friends to do the same. But none of them played until they saw the game on Good Game(popular show in Australia). Now lots of my friends play and i really believe that Ace of Spades could be one of the best games of all time. Iceball and Porting Voxlap have opened up the community so we can now move on from 0.75 and move to greater things.

Ok thats me now what about you?

Quite a lot of people on my Minecraft server had been talking about it for several months, so I eventually decided to give it a go.

Read about it on the PC Gamer website, thought it sounded fun and that I'd give it a try.

I free minecraft clones list on squido had me interested for months but from the screen shot I thought it was like you build towers and stuff, the screen shot was really bad. After a while I checked it out, that was in April of 2012. Since then I have just been hocked.

I searched for games like Minecraft, got Ace of Spades. It looked sweet because I like FPS games and I like Minecraft. Win win.

I was really interested in the concept of a destructible battlefield provided by Minecraft PvP, and AoS was a step up from that.

I don't have extra money to spend on games, I have a shitty computer, and I liked the tactical feel [that only lasted 5 minutes].

Notch linked it on his twitter, I clicked it, got a weird website made out of text.

Tried joining a few servers, there were no loading bars and it took forever to join. So I had to just stare at a black screen, and eventually give up and try another server a few times. Until I finally got in, I realized the game was really fun, and started recording.
