My guess, OP, is that you just see the splash screen. That means either the server is full, or you just have to wait a little bit longer. Nothing else I can do for you if you don't explain what happens.

That means its time to upgrade your Internet. I can run two iPods, and three computers at once with no problem. Huzzah for Verizon!
