Build and Shoot

Hey everybody im back!

If you don't know me, I have kind of abandoned an idea to make a Tank/APC vehicles etc.

I found the problem, making a script was needed, no matter how many models I made. So that's how I quit.

Now I want to improve gameplay on large maps, making a vehicle script would be a great idea if we want land vehicles like tanks or Humvees, etc.

This would be perfect for new games like zombie AI, where you can ride in cars to run away from zombies, oh what the fuck you get the idea.

I would like to have some programming and suggestions to help in my project, and I don't look to do this myself, I will need community support

A tank mod in Iceball would be great since it fully supports modding. If you are interested in making a tank mod for Iceball make a thread in this forum.

Fizzy's WW2 server had tanks, but was hated and banned by izzy.

One server myteriously failed to connect to the master (server problem), other was banned with izzy wrongly accusing me of hacking servers months later.
Anyways, I think I still have it, but it's only for premium servers and would run shitty on hallway or arena.

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

But I guess a tank script should be easy to write if you know how.

I tried to give both of you a more than fair chance to satisfy a very reasonable request, but unfortunately the server continued to spoof player counts after that. That's why it was banned.

Yes, I read it whenever you had sent it to me and there's no reason to bring it up again here, especially since the server admin and the guy who did it was LeFizzy and not me.

Maybe it's because you made it sound like he goes around banning servers for no reason because he doesn't like them?

On topic: imo tanks would be overpowered unless there were a valid way to destroy them. Grenades are something...I guess, but I wouldn't like it. Humvees..idk...doesn't really seem right..what do you have planned so far? I can see it being abused if it drives fast and does ramming damage.

In the only implementation possible in AoS (block tanks), they're pretty balanced, even with a cannon and more or less realistic speed. The thing is, you have a very limited view, so people often sneak to it and fag around with nades and stuff. Basically, it only has 3 purposes: artillery, breaking through the front while infiltrating stuff, and infantry support.

Im using a artillery script from a player who made cannons on their server, for the tank cannon.
We just have to make it mobile now..
