Maybe we should host a B&S Iceball event because i haven't been able to play this game with other players. Would be cool :D

If the devs think it is stable enough for 30 players we can get something set up in the next few weekends

I think it's stable enough. But I think they should add a lighting system first. And get a better map, ack I hate mesa.

Thanks Dan,
I can't wait for it if it happens. It's a game which needs to be played more.
@Hobohob: Its running Normandie, though i would like a different map like Goon Assault to be played.

I'd suggest waiting until we get some admin commands in before having an event like this. Right now, the only way to kickban someone is to kill the connection and block them with iptables. ;P

Couldn't you someone host a private server for the B&S event then which is temporary? But i know what you mean. In the future it would need admin commands.

Yes, but what's to stop someone from coming onto the server during the event and griefing?

They were running Normandie as of last night
As for griefing, teamkill is fully enabled, so in a coordinated community event we could probably execute the griefer to the point where they get bored and leave.
