i cant connect to any server idk why it juts happened randomly

sever.exe is different from client.exe, maybe if you show a picture of that instead of your server not working we can fix your problem.

in the black box it says their is file not found, maybe it's that

nope. not a thing in about a week. also openspades doesnt work, maybe it was the windows 8 update?

It must be because of the window update, I'm sure many other windows 8 users have the same problem.

he just deleted / moved some files around, which is why they cannot be found by the game.

no, about three days ago i could play then, the error message kept popping up, now today it works perfectly fine

Pretty sure when you get a new OS you have to reinstall pretty much everything. If that's what you mean by 'Windows 8 Update'
