Every time I try to join a server, an error with "failed to open config file" shows and then the game quits! Can someone please help? I am only 11 years old and I have no idea what a "graphics card" or what ever that crap is.

OpenSpades or the old version?

Did you try reinstalling the game?

did you try making sure you didn't move files in the wrong area? Shit happens, so just uninstall and re-install and see what happens and hopefully it is fixed.

I use the old version. I have tried re-installing the game 11 times. Some times the game runs fine, but sometimes I get the same error. And whenever the game works correctly, if I close the game for a few seconds, open it again, and then join a server, I get the error AGAIN and have to re-install AGAIN.

Either the path to the config is broke or faulty installation.

Check your ant-virus to see if it's just branding the software as malware.

See if the config wasn't just set to read-only for some unknown reason.

Also check if your browser also isn't blocking BnS or some such.

If all else fails, try OpenSpades or get a new computer.

You can only read a file/it is uneditable but you can still save it as another file.

Right click, select properties. You should see a check box that says 'Read Only' make sure that it is unchecked.

It didn't work.

Do you use the BNS launcher?

*cough* When I was 10 I already knew s*** about graphics cards, processors etc.
Anyway, chances are your PC is totally f'ed up. Try giving the specs... oh wait. Never mind.
Or, try installing either: The latest version of OpenSpades, or the BnS launcher.
For OpenSpades, even if it doesn't work, then go to 0.8 and below. (Forgot exactly the version numbers)
