Build and Shoot

So I got a new computer and I put ace of spades on it. I noticed that when this website got a new layout, the way to install aos is different than normal. It works and all but.....

I'm a modder and I made a copy of all the files of ace of spades and moved them to a new folder else were in my computer. So when I changed something like the shot gun (like maybe I make it a sawed off shotgun) Then I decide I like it and copy and paste/ move the new file to were the original file was and it automatically reverts it back to the way it was. ( I tried a lot of things to make it work ) But I can change the original file and save it and it will stay the same which I ok with but what if I want to try someone elses mod? I cant stick it in there, it will just be the default gun.

Is this a problem on my end? or is this how it is now? is there a way to fix it? please help

User error. Since I am assuming you are using the build and shoot launcher you should be modifying the BnS launcher's files not the AoS files. Just open up the launcher, go to versions, and click view on disk.

Yes that's what I do, those are the files that I cant change unless I do it from with in ( if that makes any sense)

That doesn't make any sense

I mean I can change the original file and it will save. but If I replace it with a file, it gets changed to the default file.
